On January 3, 2020, Hotel Morgan began a very significant round of renovations, this time to restore the property to its 1920s-era splendor and prestige. The facility includes the renovation of an existing 12,758 square foot sales and service building as well as an addition of 6,405 square foot service reception area.
The site work includes the demolition of an existing 3000 sf of covered are being used for service reception. The work also includes grading, drainage, utility connections, parking lots and drive aisles and landscaping. The new structure is a one story, masonry structure on spread footings. The building exterior consists of aluminum composite material (ACM), split faced block and curtain wall glass. The roofing system will be made of ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM). Interior construction includes metal stud and gypsum partitions, wood stairs, wood doors, acoustical ceilings, wall and floor finishes, plastic laminate casework, solid surface tops, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, lighting, electrical.

Basilica of the Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral Gathering Space
The cathedrals placement on a busy street in Downtown Charleston, WV, left little more than an unwelcoming sidewalk space to gather. Jarrett Construction Services was approached to provide a hospitable area for parishioners and visitors alike. The $3,000,000, 9,700 square foot project added the gathering space, a new and enlarged sacristy/vesting area for up to 30 or 40 priests, a bridal party dressing room and gift shop. Additionally, a new landscaped courtyard, complete with two fountains, accents the beautiful Romanesque architecture of the original.

Appalachian Regional Headquarters
Energy Corperation of America is a West Virginia founded multi-national oil and gas operator. Having out grown there offices in Kanwha City, ECA and Jarrett Construction Service partenard to Desing Build ECA’s new Appalachian Regional Headquarter. Utilizing the Design Build approach the project was able to start in four months from the initial design meeting.
